A6 Shift *****?

One thing manual tranny owners seem to have over us A6 owners is a wide variety of shift **** options. Does anyone offer aftermarket shift ***** for the A6?

I wanna say that you can't find much since there is no easy way to change the stock shifter on an auto. I could be wrong though.

You're right about the shifter itself, but I'm just looking for a different ****. It's not threaded like the **** on a manual shifter, but it's almost as easy to remove and replace. All a replacement would require is a twist-lock collar for the boot and a plunger to engage the selector mechanism. Its external appearance can be almost anything that incorporates an actuator for the plunger.
