Default C4 to C6

For the last 5 years I've been driving a '96 LT4. I bought a 2007 base model one week ago. For some reason it feels as if my throttle response was much crisper in the LT4. It could be that I'm used to the power band kicking in earlier in the LT4 and haven't gotten used to keeping the RPMs higher with my C6 so when I jump on it I get that neck-snapping response. Anyone else have this experience? Don't get me wrong I'm completely satisified with the switch. Just curious.

The throttle on the C4 was mechanical and they quite frequently had a fast "tip in" in that they gave a much higher percentage of the throttle early. The C5 and C6 have an elecronic throttle which is much more linear, at least in my experience.

That's how I would describe it as well. Very linear.

Yup, each LS2 car I've owned has had a "mushy" kinda feel to throttle, but when you press harder you really feel it kick in. A tune will help with the throttle tip in but it's still not that great. For instance I jump in my friends Scion and it feels like a rocket at a slight press of the throttle, press a little more and your wondering if it even has 160hp!
