Default Nav System Map Disc

Finally received my new map disc which I ordered Feb 8. This system has two disc East and West, the container said version 4.00. My question is.......
1. I have a 05 model, do later models use the same disc ?
2. Is this the latest version ? I thought that the latest version was numericaly higher.
This is my first update, my old disc was the one that came with the car which is a version 1.00

Version 4.0 is the latest version and it is the two disc version that is shipping with the 2008 Corvettes currently. The Nav unit remains unchanged from 2005-2008 so yes, all the Corvette C6 cars on the road can interchange the discs.

2005 shipped with version 1.0
2006 shipped with version 2.0
2007 shipped with version 3.0
2008 shipped with version 4.0

hmmmm.... I just received my complimentary update for my 2007. The new disc is version 4.0, but the old disc that I pulled from my 2007 is also version 4.0... the new disc is the same GM part number except it has the letter U at the end of the part number.

Did I just receive the identical disc in the mail? Why did my 2007 have version 4.0 (it was placed in service May 2007)?
