Default Ipod question

I have a new 08 coupe that I am picking up in Bowling Green on 4-21-08. I was wondering whether the MP3 option will allow me to play my Ipod?
I realize that I will have to use the Ipod to control songs and such but I will be able to plug into the radio and use it, right??

If you are not getting the NAV then you will be able to plug your Ipod into the radio. With the NAV the only way to use an Ipod is an FM transmitter.

Ok I should have said the only way without taking the interior apart and adding equipment. Which I don't think the OP wants to do when taking delivery.

As was stated, if you are purchasing a car without a navigation radio there is a line-in mini-plug (1/8" phono plug) on the front of the radio. You will need to get a cord that will plug in to the headphone jack of your MP3 player and plug in to the line-in on the face of the radio. A cord with a 1/8" phono plug, male to male will do the trick in whatever length you want.

If you have Nav and XM here's a great mod when you get home: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...highlight=ipod
Many thanks to Ray and Gearhead65 for posting excellent pics! I would steer clear of the Radio Shack junk cord and get one from Best Buy. I had problems with the Shack cord. Now I don't need to wait for GM's imaginary PAL and my iPod works great!
