I do not pretend to be mechanically inclined. Some of my reading seems to show that GM has been doing quite a bit with Flexfuel on other models.
Is it a possibility with the Corvette? Just asking.
Not yet.
There is a seemingly talented forum member that has started experimenting with this very thing. You can find his write-up here. Several things need to change for the Corvette to accept E85. The motor can be setup to run but other components will need to be changed. Look for it in the future.
As I understand it, the components used to deliver the flex fuel are very different than those used for regular 87. Due to the additional chemicals other materials are needed or the connections will become weak and fail. Makes me wonder why people are trying to convert their regular vehicles to flex fuel. I will be rather expensive.
I am no expert, but watch a very informative show on Speed on the subject. There is my .02's and no I don't need any change!
