manual or auto

I drive a manual because I think it's more fun. Period. If you think an auto or paddle shifters are more fun, or you don't want to shift a manual in traffic, or you have a bad knee or hip, or whatever - great, enjoy your auto. Who really cares? If you got an auto so you can say "see, I don't need a manual to prove may manhood" you either aren't really secure or you just plain need psychological help.
As for the OP - just test drive both and pick which ever one you enjoy better. That's what I did.
Enjoy your 6sp as I do.........( listen don't tell them auto guys how much fun they are missing hahahaha),
1. you never miss a shift.
2. only a seasoned racer can shift a manual faster.
3. a driver can brake later in an auto entering a corner, when I reach the braking markers I slam on my brakes while paddling down, the auto rev matches for me, no need to heel and toe, and I can concentrate on getting out the corner faster.
in a manual you have to worry about heel and toe, matching your revs so you don't upset the handling of the car in the corner, the auto's are easier to drive.
1. just remember what marker to hit the brakes hard, paddle down and then find the apex and accelerate out of the corner, simple, and never worry about missing a shift.
at the 1/4 mile, launching is easier and you never miss a shift.
