I personally use Valentine One. I've tried other brands, but I really can't live without those arrows (No, I'm not an ad), it saves alot of time from having a general "oh look radar" to "oh look, radar on the sides\fron\behind". Just my 2 cents.

they both have their advantages and disadvantages. I've had my RX65 for 2 years now and it works like a champ. I came from the solo2 and 2 8500 x50 blues if that tells you anything. the STi driver is all hype and unless they've fixed the 9500's glitches, the RX65 can be had for under $200 unauthorized. great bang for the buck. there is a blue led RX65 now also.

I've used one for about 3 months and like it at least as well as my buddies V1. Especially like the auto mute feature. If I lost it, I'd buy another rx65.

I had a rx65 for a about 1 yr. I would move it back and forth from my truck to my C6, until it was stole out of my truck. I went thought the same thing as you are right now, should I buy a another rx65 or V1. I bought the V1 very very happy with it! But I will buy a another rx65 for the truck but the V1 will stay in C6. I think that the V1 is one step up from the rx65. The arrow is great, it just nice to known were the hit is coming from.

This may be par for the radar detector course, but I find my RX65 has a LOT of Kband falses in town. There are so many, that I tend to tune the detector completely out in town...not always a good idea.

Since Kband is virtually not used by local law enforcement any longer, I probably should my read my manual and see if I can set it up to eliminate Kband alarms altogether.
