Can Onstar
I have Onstar in my Silverado and I've had to call a couple of times to have it unlocked when I locked the keys inside. Unfortunately it happens more often when I've been driving the Vette long enough to get used to not using a key. But can Onstar unlock and or start your Vette if you don't have the Fob? or if your Fob isn't working (maybe a dead battery).

The satellite can command the doors to unlock, assuming there is power in the car, but it cannot start the car. The brake needs to be pushed to start the car, and there is no remote starting device on the car for that very reason. OnStar starting also won't work on an GM car that does not have a remote starting capability. The doors are the only thing that will work (assuming the car has power door locks - for example, OnStar won't open an Aveo's manual door locks).

They can unlock it for you. If the FOB battery is dead just put the FOB in the slot in the clove box and your C6 will start.
