That is in the same ballpark that I paid, though I did also have options, NPP exhaust, 2-Tone Interior and the dual roof option. Sounds like a fair price to me, though like I said, I had three additional options for about the same money.

Where'd you get that price? Was it out of stock or ordered???

I placed order through my local small town dealer in Bryan Ohio. Stan Pepple Motors. They have no Corvette inventory, so all you can do is place an order. I did use GM Supplier Discount.

But the operative question is; Do they have any ALLOCATIONS? They can take orders all day and give good prices, too. But if they don't have any allocations the orders are worthless.

Totally agree! I was going to mention this in my last post but did not think it really mattered to the OP's question.
My small town dealer gets only 2 allocations per year as they hardly ever sell any Corvettes. My 2008 coupe was the only one they sold in all of 2007! Dealer did not have immediate allocation. I placed my order on July 25, 2007 and finally took delivery on October 11, 2008. My dealer treats me like gold, so it was worth the wait. Just all depends on what is important to you, getting the car as quick as you can or having a very good relationship with your local dealer (and a dealer that you can trust).
sounds good to me! just remember you are at the very end of the model ordering period for '08s. this means, '09s are soon to be out with first ones delivered on/about first week of July.
