Default Value With Performance

With all of the great performance resources out there, which company's actually add real value to your Corvette, as well as doing it right? Lingenfelter is one that comes to mind and they also include a guarantee.

Maybe some of you who have done some serious performance mods, can weigh in with your particular experience.

Zero, nada, zilch, none, forgetit, noway, never.................. get the picture. Modifications usually result in anywhere from a negative value being added to a car, to 30% of modification costs.

except mine, of course.

You lose a little less money for each dollar invested with a "high line" tuner like LPE - but then you pay a pretty good premium for having the same work done, so it's a wash, at best.

A pure stock car that is driven the least depreciates the least (or appreciates the most, once past the 20-30 year "down" part of the price cycle). Anything other than that is money sunk, so it better be fun. Spend money on a car for YOU, not for the next guy.

Mods do not have a return on investment and the value would be what someone is willing to pay for it.

Not so sure of that. A Lingenfelter vette is a pretty valued vette, I've been told. Again, especially with it's own warranty. However, that may be strictly for a damage scenario.

BTW, it'll help everyone if you fill in some profile info. You don't have to put anything there that would draw attention from the law though.
