Default Spray on Wax

Ive been using a spray wax (Eagle 1) after I wash...
Spray on wet car and dry off. It has carnuba in it...

I know it is not a substitute for a hand wax but I seem to like it between hand waxes.

Does anybody else use this kind of stuff?

I use Turtle Wax Ice...

"Product Benefits

* Can be applied to all exterior rubber, plastic and vinyl trim to restore color and shine without leaving white residue.
* Unlike conventional waxes, ICE™ can be applied in direct sunlight or on a hot surface without streaking or wax build-up.
* A single application will provide extraordinary shine however, multiple layers will further increase depth of gloss and shine.
* Formulated with light stabilizers to protect your car’s finish from the suns damaging UV rays.
* Complete kit includes a custom applicator and microfiber towel."

They now sell a detail spray....

"Product Benefits

* Produces a brilliant shine and slick surface with minimal time and effort.
* Completely clear formula will not leave any white residue on exterior plastic and rubber trim.
* Can be applied in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces without streaking.
* Multiple coats can be applied for unbeatable shine and protection without build-up."

Can't argue with the results!

+1 for the Turtle Wax Ice. I use it in between waxings, after washing the car to give it a nice clean detailed look. You can use it on the black trim, plastic, rubber molding, etc. Wipe the whole car down with it (trim, rear valance, front air dam, etc.), wipe it off with a microfiber towel and it is GLEAMING all over .

Looks like you spent hours washing, waxing, armor all'ing (or whatever you personally use on the black trim), etc. when you only spent 10 minutes wiping it down.

I have used The Eagle 1 spray and I must say I was very happy with the results. Good lasting shine and simple to use in a pinch.

Turtle Wax Ice does work good and is very easy to use, but the downside is that the silicone in the product can potentially cause issues with repaint work should paintwork ever become necessary.

I've used many of these products and they all seem to work. I think it's wise to stick with the detailer of the same brand as your wax as they are generally designed to work together.

I use Meguires NXT Liquid Wax and Tech Spray. It give the car a wet looks and is really easy to apply. After I am finished, the Atomic Orange has more depth and sparkles like crazy.
