Default Visor goo

The other day I removed the stock visor stickers from my 05 coupe. I used a hair drier to soften things up and they came off pretty easy. I expected some residual goo and was prepared to clean it off with goo gone. After soaking with gg rubbing, brushing , blotting reapplying there is still an unsightly ghost of the sticker and goo. It looks like crap.

Any suggestions on how I can get the rest of this stuff off?

Dave

are you brushing immediately after spraying on the goo gone? if not you need to be. i used goo gone extreme spray (lowes) and a toothbrush (with the bristles shortened) and brushed immediately after spraying. the visors came out completely clean in just a few minutes.

I did the same thing including mineral spirits. I tried Imperial Cleaner and it removed the ghost. They sell it at Wal-Mart and grocery stores. Here is the web site that distributes the product.http://www.terracepackaging.com

just brush immediately after spraying. you'll have to do several times and if you're doing them in the car spread a sheet or something to catch the debris that falls off.
