I guess I'm going to have to make the move to Rejex, luckily I have not applied Rain X to my windshield so all I'll have to do it clean it up and Rejex away..

What I never liked about Rain X is that after a few applications, the buildup fogged up my windshield in the rain. That was completely contrary to what it's supposed to do.

Using your detail spray will do the same thing - works great. When you detail your car, do the glass too.

There is only one RejeX. If they don't have windows as an optional use they are missing a marketing opportunity...

Seems to me that every time I have used Rain-X the wipers degrade faster than normal, even though I'm using them less. Anyone else see this too?

I've read that Rain-X contains an acid. It's definitely not good to get it on the paint.

I replace my wiper inserts yearly anyway since here in Texas the heat will dry them out.

And Zaino Z-12 works great too.

CorrosionX is the is the company that makes RejeX and they do have a few different products other than RejeX, but RejeX is the actual name of the product being mentioned here in this thread.

Yes, Rain-X does chew up the rubber on the wiper's faster. But wiper blades are relatively cheap and you should be replacing them regularly anyway. I'm thinking that any coating on the windshield is going to transfer to the wiper blades and reduce effectiveness (soft sticky grip).
