Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.

This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual.

This didn't work on my '05. Dealer had to re-load firmware, fortunately in warranty.

This has worked for me on my 2008 Vert. Try it.

As stated in my question, I have already tried the reindexing without any luck. What did reloading the firmware do? Any ideas of the dealer cost for this service and there is probably no guarantee this would solve the problem.

Sorry, but your description of resetting the window indexing ("I have tried resetting the indexing by putting the window in the full up position, waiting a few seconds and then using the door window control to raise the window to the full position until it makes the sound that indicates it is reset.") doesn't sound like the method we've found to work in some of these cases. Just thought that might be the problem, and that one doesn't cost anything to try it.

Hope your dealer can fix it for you.
