Back Ordered Tires?
Has anyone tried to order front tires lately from Good Year? Went to order a pair of F1 245/40zr18 GS-2 yesterday and was told they were back ordered for several weeks. Tried Tire Rack and several other places and was told the same. Didn't Good Year go on strike recently or something?
Funny thing is that Good Year is having a sale on them, 550.00 for two mounted. Tire Rack was 340 a piece plus shipping. Unfortunately know one can locate the tires. Anyone else having problems finding fronts for a Z51?

We currently only have the SuperCars in stock. Not that I am trying to sell them. Many tire makers look at these sizes as a very small niche market. Consequently, they are a very low priority when it comes to building them. They would rather spend their resources on building tires that they will sell millions of, not thousands.

I went looking for GY D3's a couple weeks ago, and TireRack only had 3-4 fronts in Indiana, and a two rears in Utah. I felt lucky to snag a set before they all disappeared.
