Any feed back on the Apsis Z06 style splash guards?
I talked to them and they confirmed that the color does not match the factory rear lower valance. I am wanting to avoid painting them and get the Z06 look and rock protection. The rear apparently are mainly held on by the 3M tape. How well does this work? Longevity? I read where others used the actual factory Z06 rear and cut them to get a fit, but that looks dicey at getting it right without messing up some first. Personally, I think the little mud flaps from the pipedreams just look like a cheap AutoZone mod. No disrespect, but just not my preference. Any thoughts and experiences?
I ordered a set of Apsis Z06-style splash guards, front & rear, for my C6 a few months back.
The actual material is some sort of foam plastic.
The finish is a dark gray, and is applied to the surface only.
My concern was that, over time, the finish would get chipped and/or "sand blasted"........and would eventually look worse than not having the splash guards at all.
With that being said, there are others on this forum that are very happy with them.
And, by the way, Jersey at Apsis is a great person to deal with, IMO.
After looking at them up against the car, I decided that they weren't for me.
So, I returned them.

Dear Mickey,
Our new sales person Michael might give you wrong info. In fact, our color is pretty close to the factory Exhaust Diffuser. There are many members had received & installed our Splash Guard and we don't get complaint about the color matching issue.
The reason that our base color is grey is because this is the color of the resin material that we get from our supplier.
We do hear your concern about the grey base color and we will try to see if we can do something to improve it. Hopefully we will find the solution soon.
Like any products out there, there is always something to be improved. We will do our best.
Have the short guards on the front and long ones on the rear. Am very happy with them as they are of very good quality and fit well. As far as wear have them on for several thousand miles with no sign of any wear issues. they have not come loose either. You won't be disappointed if you get them.

Web site has no prices. What'd your set of 4 cost???
We don't post prices to our web on purpose. Our web is designed for all customers to share products info. Wholesale is our main business.
The price for Long Version is $187.50/pair for either front or rear wheel.
The price for Short Version is $157.50/pair for either front or rear wheel.
The Long Version reaches to the highest point of the wheel well which is exactly same as Z06's.
The Short Version reaches to about half of the height so it's more subtle.
So these are just like the Z06 mud guards, but made for a C6? No cutting or twisting or pushing bending stuff like when you use a Z06 mud guard??? Also, how do the install??? Do I need to drill or is it with clips. I want a set to send to my dealer. He said he'd put on mud guards for me at no charge if there not a bitch to put on. Please let me know! I got a 4 hour drive home when I pick her up and I'd hate to start of with rock chips or something right out of the gate!

Yes, we have modified it to fit for C6 perfectly. No Cutting, No Twisting, No Bending, No Drilling, No.....
The installation is very easy and you can finish the whole set within 10 minutes.
For Front Wheel, you remove those 4 existing fastener and reuse the holes with longer fasteners that we provide. At the upper corner we use some 3M tape.
For Rear Wheel, you remove those 2 screws under the Exhaust Diffuser and reuse the screw holes with the longer screws that we provide. The entire vertical wheel well section will be secured by 3M tape + 3M adhesive. You work from the bottom up.
DO NOT TIGHTEN THOSE 2 SCREWS BEFORE YOU HAVE PROPERLY MOUNTED THE SPLASH GUARDS.
That's it!
We have predrilled one extra hole at the upper corner. If you want extra security, you can add one screw that we provide. This is option to the car owner.
I put on the APSIS shorts front and rear and couldn't be any happier. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. These look like they came on the car from the factory and not those cheap $30 clip on type.
Before I take the plunge, whats removal like??? Will the VHB screw up or pull the paint off??? This is very important; I may want to have these painted at some point and may have to take them off. I just can't put them on if removal is going to hurt the paint. Has anyone removed these yet and if so, what happened???

If you plan to remove the Splash Guards in the future, then you better not to add the 3M adhesive promotor. There will be some residual marks on the paint. (but still those marks can be removed by AFTA if you apply).
When you remove, the 3M tape won't damage your paint at all. We've been using such 3M for long time for our other products and it's not strong enough to damage your paint.
Some customers add one extra layer of 3M tape on purpose to allow the Guard not to have any direct contact on the paint so in the future when you remove your Guard there will be no marks on your paint.
