My 17 year old son made this video of my vette today. We took about 45 minutes making the videos and he spent only about 1 hour editing and adding stuff.
What are those cloths draped over the seats? Are those used while cleaning the car? You do not drive seated over cloth rags, do you?
The cloths are terry cloth towels made to drape over the seats. They have the Corvette name and logo on them. They are great at preventing getting burned on hot black seats! Plus they look great too, but maybe not in this video.
This is going to sound much harsher than it should........but.........buy him a good tripod.
Not harsh at all. He agrees. This was a quick ride to take some shots and about an hour to edit. This was his first car video. I'm sure we will make another and he even said he needed to use my unipod to avoid a lot of the shakes.
Nice Job At least he's not out getting into trouble
I wouldn't say that. Two months ago he got a reckless driving ticket for having two of his buddies in the back of his Ford Ranger pickup while driving them to their car across a mall parking lot.
I warned him not to do that. This was his first offense and the judge gave him $630 fines and court costs and sentenced him to 6 months in jail !!!!!! Then gave him 12 months probation and said if he got as much as a "not using your turn signal ticket" he would serve his 6 months!
This judge here in Daphne has a reputation for being rough.
While what he did was bad judgement and he deserves some accountability, this sounds a little harsh. He's an A student going to college in August with a full tuition scholarship and if this sticks, he will graduate with a criminal record.
We appealed the case and are awaiting the appeal to be rescheduled.

uhh WOW... I thought having people in the back of your truck is as bad as not wearing a seatbelt?

I was joking. It's your car. It's nice to see your son involved.

I have the terry cloth covers too. Use them with my cashmere interior to help keep my jeans from staining the leather over a long period of time. Easy to pull out and wash

That is a stupid judgement. The judge should have dismissed that, especially given your son's A school record.
