Since the 2009 C6 will have Bluetooth, what are the chances of getting this upgraded in 2008 or older models?
Since a lot of states (Louisiana now) are legislating hands-free cell usage in cars, this would be a good option in my 2008 coupe. Much cheaper than OnStar telephone that limits you to a single carrier that I do not have coverage with!
Does anyone have a current solution to adding Bluetooth to the C6?
That specific question was asked by Paul (talon90) at the Bash. The answer was that it would not be practical (or cheap) to try and retrofit the 09 components into the previous years. Too much hardware (like the 09 steering wheel) and software changes are needed. There are some aftermarket solutions that others have installed.

I spoke with the Corvette Chief Engineer and Product manager about this. Their comment was "While anything is possible, it would difficult and expensive to do."
The biggest hurdle to overcome is that the only controls for the bluetooth are on the steering wheel. It would require the new wheel with wiring harness and likely a software upgrade.
I would say your best option would be to go with an aftermarket solution like the Parrot bluetooth kit that is available.
