Thanks for all the positive reviews from those trying the AMSOIL "fix".

For the C6 diff, I recommend:
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 (Stock Code SVGQT) (diff takes about 1.7 quarts)
(FYI, this is the same fluid I use in my 06 CTS-V daily driver and my 02 Z06 track car)

For the C6 diff, I also recommend one bottle of this:
AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive (Stock Code ADABA)

For the DIYer, you'll need something like this:
AMSOIL Hand Pump (Stock Code G2039)

Ordering info in my sig.

Some members who are dissatisfied are likely referring to the previous TSBs and additives. The new TSB changes the type of oil used and does not add additives. I have not seen complaints about chatter recurrences from members who have had the gear oil changed to the latest DEXRON® LS gear oil. I'm sure someone will speak up if that is not the case.

Mine was getting really bad ('07 MZ6 w/7,500 miles) and the new LS75W-90, which is the updated TSB has worked perfectly. They almost put in the older stuff but I caught them before they did. Make sure that they don't use the additive. It is said that it will break down the anti-friction properties of the new lube and may deteriorate the seals.

I don't understand why the diff fluid problem is so sporatic? I would think the fluid either does it's job or it doesn't. Is this a problem all 07 owners will have have to face, it's just a matter of time based on use?

Just a quick update to say my car went in this morning instead of the other day. My schedule got screwed up not the dealer. They looked at it and said one of the axle seals is leaking and it was low on fluid. So they will have to replace the seal and do the fluid change. I was impressed that the mechanic doing the work said to do a few circles with the car after the change and he also said it may need to come back for a second change of fluid as some of them are needing it done twice. I hope not but at least they are open to it if it needs it again. I'm pretty glad I brought it in when I did and look forward to it being all better.
