Rear bumper cover
Does anyone know the approx. cost of a rear bumper cover?
Are they difficult to replace?
Got hit by a semi yesterday on the GW Bridge in NJ, put a hole in the cover, truck never pulled over to give me any info.

That very same thing happpened to me....in the same place !! G.W. Bridge toll plaza. In my situation the s.o.b. wouldn't pull over so it was classified as a Hit & Run and it took the cops over 2 hours to respond to my 911 call. Needless to say they never got the guy. Good luck with the repairs !! Andy

New GM list price is $550+ or so. You'll also need a few misc parts.
They can be purchased cheaper, but you also need to consider shipping costs.
A local purchase from someone who has "modded-up" to a Z06 rear might be the best solution.

The Z06 rear bumber is the same as non-Z06. The front is different.

.I am in CT until tomorrow AM, on my way back I will visit with the Port Authority of NY and NJ police in Fort Lee as I did write down the front plate off the semi's cab.

Sorry to hear what happened! In addition to the cost of the parts, be sure to figure in the added cost of painting. Doubt you will get one already painted that matches the rest of your car. Good luck.

Filed a police report yesterday, more or less an accident report with the Port Authority. PO told me they can not cite him with leaving the scene, as they can not prove who was actually driving the truck. 
I told the PO that they have logs in the truck that should show who the driver is. Anyways, they ran the plate I gave them, and guess what, it turned out to be a tractor trailer! I just want my baby fixed
