I live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.....Look it up on a map. We are in the middle of a BEACH. We don't have salt problems here. BUT, we do have a sand problem. I do NOT drive it on really windy days. Every time I open my hood I can see the sand piled up in the corners of the engine compartment. I hose it off and then use compressed air to dry it up.
