I just got a 2008 2LT with NPP as the only options. I love it already. So many improvements over my old 1995 coupe. [IMG][/IMG]

Congratulations - It's beautiful.
I traded my '93 convertible for a 2008 about 3 weeks ago, and I completely agree that the new model is vastly improved. Enjoy your new ride!

I don't know how much they warmed it up before I got it, but it shifts so smooth. My 95 shifted like a truck. My 04 GTO was better than my 95 coupe. Do the 08's have the skip shift? I have 400 miles on it already and I don't even know.

You C4 to C6 guys are killing me. I can't believe you waited so long.

It's like going from a Brontosaurus to a Ducati.

Congrats all around.

Yes, it does. I'm only laughing because if you haven't hit it in 400 miles of driving that says something.

As to Big's comments (and yours) re the C4 and waiting for the C6, I did. And I don't understand the poor shifting quality on C4s. Had two of them and both were excellent-shifting cars; just not as good as the new one now. Mine, one was new, and one was used.

Maybe there was some prior abuse to the man trans in your car Giga???? Anyway, good luck with the new car. It looks great.

My 95 and 08 were both bought new. The 95 shifted OK it just felt so clunky.

I had my eye on that car for a while...it was just too far away for me. So I ordered a JSB, 2LT, NPP, with comp gray wheels and museum delivery.

Congratulations! I was looking at blue but bought white two weeks ago. The car continues to amaze me. I had never driven a Corvette until I bought mine.

Enjoy the new toy and drive safe.
