40000 dollar Option!
Saw my first Crystal Red Special Edition Z06. 86000 dollar MSRP.
Gorgeous leather wrapped Interior. It has a special blacked out hood by the scoop. Very very pretty. Looked like a Diamond sitting out on the lot glowing with FIRE! Like this maybe!

Dealer told me, only 750 to be built. Very classy for sure.

and thanks to the moderators for locking my stupid Flame post... Our opinions are valued, nobody flamed me. I over reacted maybe. Sometimes I am Chicken little! I just love America so much ,, that I worry about it's future lately. And GM's future also. I do hope nobody here finds anything wrong with that....
They have a lot of baggage to deal with lately,, especially that Axle Strike. Don't need an extra worry like that.

I Think the Z06 is just an especially beautiful car in either red. I had an '08 loaded VR coupe on order when I stopped by my dealer back in February. He had gotten in an equivalent trim VR Z and I was just enthralled by it. I probably could have gotten it for $70K ($78K MSRP), but reason prevailed. I just couldn't justify an extra $19K for looks, as the car will never be to a dragstrip.

The Axle Strike didn't affect the Corvette Plant.
I also don't see how it's a $40,000 dollar option.
