TPMS Question!
The vette we just got has had chrome Z06 wheels put on it. The TPMS system is not working. My guess is it was never programmed to the new wheels. Can this be done without the dealer doing it?

Yes......most major tire shops, Goodyear, Discount Tire/America's Tire, etc have the tool to do it and usually don't charge. But, a good dealer should do it at no charge as well. Good luck.

I agree that most tire dealers can do it but just because the wheels were changed doesn't mean the TPMS have to be reset. I had my wheels replaced with Z06 chrome repos and just made sure that the sensors stayed in the same relative position to the vehicle and didn't have any problems. Are you sure the new wheels have the TPMS installed? The valve stems are metal with a nut securing them as opposed to the standard rubber valve stems.
