That makes sence to me because GM is usually quiet about their rebates.
Corvette sales are slow Nation wide...you would think they would do something to generate some movement. I'm discounting them to whatever I need to do to make a deal. All I can be is fair and consistant...it's up to GM from there to divy out the incentives.

On May 3rd, I traded my 94 Vette on a 2008 Corvette Coupe. I received a $1000 Rebate from GM. I also looked on the Chevy Website and it was listed there too. According to the dealer, the rebate was for a limited time.

So, as I said, my car is on order and is scheduled to be completed 5/29 and delivered the first week of June.
I got an advertisement in the mail today for a $2,000 GM rebate.
It says "$2000 offer valid on select new and unused 2007 and 2008 GM vehicles, with the exception of all hybrids, Aveo, Cobalt, G5, ASTRA, and medium duty trucks. Take delivery from 5/19/08 through 7/19/2008. Customer must bring original certificate received in the mail to redeem offer."
Can I get the additional 2k off the price of the car?
I ordered it on April 28th and gave them a 2,000 dollar deposit at that time.

Probably not. Generally rebates are only on cars in dealer stock.
Thanks but the certificate says "See back for full program details."
And, I quoted the limitation statement on the back and it said nothing about in stock or not it just says "Take delivery" between those dates.
Yes, but it also says "select" new and unused vehicles. I'm just saying that rebates are normally on vehicles in dealer stock. By all means give it a try. The worst thing that can happen is they tell you it doesn't apply.

We can't grant your rebate. You need to talk to Chevy/GM.
