Nah! Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that for the past 20 years they've all been fuel injected. And anyone who doesn't know, doesn't understand what "fuel injection" means.
In the '60's, fuel injected engines were the exception, not the rule. As such they were condidered exotic. Thus the fender badges.
If you want to stand out in the crowd today and be noticed, rip everything off, replace the F.I. unit with a couple of 750 cfm Hollies and stick a "carburetted" badge on the fender. Then enjoy the attention plus the 4 miles per gallon! It'll be just like NASCAR!!!
I always laugh at the cars I see with badges identifying them as
Fuel injected
Automatic trans
Four wheel drive
antilock brakes
5.0 Liter (or fill in your displacement here...)
HP designations
Stingray
Independent suspension
Disc brakes
Z51, ZHZ et all........
Some of those older cars had three or four badge type indentifiers on the back edge of the trunk identifying the equipment on the car.......My opinion obviously is -- leave well enough alone on the badges already!!! The lines of the Corvette deserve better......JMHO

Don't like attaching little chrome spears or badges to my $50k sports car using glue or sticky tape. But once again, if you like it, who cares what others think.
And as someone mentioned every car on the road has been FI since the 1980's so what's the point? Might as well put "WATER COOLED" badge on it or how about "SIX SPEED TRANSMISSION" or "LITTLE JOHNNY'S TOY".
