This is were a shop manual would be mighty handy! (I haven't ordered mine yet either, but it's on my "must do" list). However, I suspect the entire assembly is attached from its back side; which means you'll likely have to remove the wheel in order to have adequate working space inside the fenderwell. But before starting, I suggest you drive to your friendly Chevrolet Corvette dealer and ask the Service Manager if you could please speak with an Auto-Service Tech. Then tell the techy what you're wanting to do and ask him/her what pitfalls you can expect to encounter?, does the job require any special tools?, any tricks-of-the-trade for this job? The '07 Owners Manual warns people not to dick with the low-beam high intensity discharge lighting system because "it operates at a very high voltage" (p.371) and can result in "serious injury". Hope all this gives you a starting point.

You need to loosen the front fender so that you can raise it up front to back to clear the headlight assembly. You will need to remove the wheel well to get to the three fasteners that hold the light assembly in place. Here are a few pictures that will get you well on your way.
