i did a widebody on my car and i could give not give a f*ck what anyone says,and i put the z06 badges on because i couldnt find a twin turbo badge i liked. i dont tell people that its a z06 because when they here its a twin turbo vette that dont give a sh*t about anything but how nice it is.i could have had a z06 with the 25000 i put into the car but what would i have had then a slow 500 hp car,no thanks. i would do the widebody and do the whole conversion,youll love it.

Personally, I would not buy aftermarket parts to do a widebody. Notice I said widebody not ZO6 I would be scared to death about fit and finish. I'm not saying that there are not companies out there with excellent products, just that I would have to touch and feel many pieces before I would trust they are good pieces. Caravaggio and the likes probably have near perfect products.

Having said that, Gene got my order for rears and he came through with an honest price and great service. As expected the parts were top quality. I did the rear for traction issues but I bet at some point I will want to do the front also. To do it right its not cheap. What really gets you is the wheels and tires. You can go with Z repos for cheap but with all that work I had to put some sick $4500 wheels on her.

To accent the nose I used an aftermarket fiberglass chin spoiler that so far has met my "OEM" standards.
