Painting/Touchup Interior Trim
I have an '07 with the cashmere interior. There door sill trim has some scratches (I now use sill protectors) that are through to the black. Has anyone painted or touched up these? If so, what paint did you use?
Are they tough to take off without breaking them?

If it's down to the black then it has grooves. I think it will be just as noticeable touching it up even if you could match the paint with the trim piece. But now you no longer have that grain look since there are scrapes there.
I would just buy the new rocker trim piece. Cannot be too expensive. Should be held in by three or four retainer clips. Since the piece is damaged anyway it's not like you have to be too careful, but you should be able to pull up on it with your hands from the inside of the interior against the carpet without issue....
