Default c6 convt wind screen

I have a 2005 convertible and wanted to know if the wind screen which goes behind the seats actually work and are they worth the money. Thanks for the response.

I'm happy with mine... Don't use it much around town. But for highway driving its a must have! No buffeting(wind hitting the back of your head/ neck) Take less that 5 minutes to install/ remove.

Yes they work well. I have one but rarely use it as I don't find the turbulence annoying, but the wind screen will reduce it alot. You really have two options, the factory screen or the Vette net which is what I have. The vette net is a good deal lower profile than the factory screen and actually doesn't look half bad (especially compared to the factory screen) but works very well. You can get them in black or in several colors. My only complaint is due to to lower profile of the vette net, the top bar of the screen goes right through the middle of the rearview mirror. It doesn't completely block the rearview mirror but it is a little annoying. Here is their website:

I just noticed as I was typing this out someone placed some pictures. Looks like the poster above has a vette net, five minutes is an overstatement you can pop those off in less than a minute easy....comes with two brackets that you must manually place and I would recommend remove each time you use it and the windscreen just slides into the brackets.

I have the GM windscreen and yes they do work. I use it mostly when the weather is cooler. I posted a review and instructions on how to install it last summer.

I agree, it works just fine. I have the GM Windscreen and it takes so very little time to put it in or take it off.

My wife appreciates it as well.

Default Does the vet net allow

about the same air flow in a vert. as when the top is taken off in the coupe?
