What mods needed for LS3 to equal stock LS7??
Currently, I have an intake and tune. I'm ordering Kooks LT's(1 3/4" catted), should be installed and re-tuned in a couple weeks. Will I be remotely close in rwhp HP/TQ to a stock LS7? I'm figuring I should be ~430-440 SAE. This is on 91 octane..

Yep, your going to have to go internal to the engine and at the very minimum add a good cam to even get close. Then maybe different heads, injectors and so on. Simply way would be to supercharge, but that may not be the cheapest in the end. Save your money, be happy with what you have and learn to use all that stock power first!

As far as chassis dyno numbers for LS7 based Z06s, on the forum here, there have been a few reports here in the 470 range and higher. Here are a few of those reports. FWIW:

Most reports you see with regard to chassis dyno numbers for these cars are less than that.
More food for thought is that there are a good number of reports of Z06s on the forum which have reached in excess of 480 RWHP with just a tune and cold air intake.
Just something else to think about.

Drifting
For me I will invest in a driving school regiment before any more power. After some time at a driving school / race track I realized that horsepower is not my limiting factor.

Z06 HP is SAE certified to Standard J2723 at 505HP. Normal Stock RWHP Dyno readings will be in the neighborhood of 440HP with a 13% drivetrain loss.

You can find LS7 chassis dyno numbers ranging anywhere from 430 RWHP all the way up to 481 RWHP. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1553032965

"In honor of jpee"
We've read on here anywhere from 440, 450 etc. There may even be a couple 470s, but I haven't read of any. Say around 450 is the target, maybe a little higher.

Didn't I catch worrying about 3" pipes? Lol. I'm assuming by intake you mean CAI, not manifold. Porting the intake & throttle bottle will buy you a few & an underdrive pulley will pick up 10-12. After that & a tune you'll I'm thinking you'll be more like 420-425rwhp not SAE, then it's time for an "Executive" cam which will put you over 450rwhp, & from what I understand from Spin, you'll never even hear it. Now if you go bigger but still mild people are making 475 pretty easy w/ 228/232 cams.
