Default Bare bones TPMS relearn tool

I reviewed some good information from CF member BEZ06 who also has some very useful videos and posts about TPMS tools.

For those of you who are looking for a relatively inexpensive relearn tool, I picked one up today at the home office of ATEQ that seems to fit the bill well. It is the VT-10 tool that ATEQ sez works on all current domestic and Euro TPMS's. It works on my '08 Vette. The tool sells for $99 but has a $30 s & h fee which seems a little high.

Pros:
Works on all current vehicles domestic & Euro.
Simple one button activation.
Nice storage case with belt clip.
Only $99! !

Cons:
Can't be upgraded via the web.
No feedback from TPMS (such as psi, temp, s/n, etc).

You can get these features on more expensive models like the VT-55.

Thanks for the report!!

It sounds like this is not only cheaper than the Bartec Trackside, but it's WAY MORE CAPABLE!!!

The Trackside is a C6 only tool, whereas this ATEQ VT-10 sounds like it will work on your other vehicles with sensors too (and with the 2008 model year, ALL vehicles must have sensors and a TPMS).

I don't know why they charge 30 bucks to ship a small, lightweight tool!?!? Butt.....even with that high shipping charge it's the cheapest tool out there.

Wish I knew about this one before I bought my Bartec Trackside.

The tool works great on my '08 and was a one button operation. I talked to them about the $30 s & h so maybe they will take a look at that and trim it down some. $15.00 seems reasonable for s & h.

It's great to have a forum! I asked ATEQ if they could adjust their s & h fee down from $30.00 to $15.00. I received an email from them today and they stated that starting today the s & h will be $15.00 when ordered online at www.ATEQUSA.com. That puts the unit at $114.00 including s & h, will work on all current vehicles including Euro and makes it the least expensive tool I have seen so far.

The URL in #5 is correct. You just have to click on TPMS on the left to take you to http://tpms-usa.store-ateq.com/. This is the USA store site.
