I am starting off with the CI in Kentucky and ending with a trip to the lake for some boating and jet skiing.

Sounds like an awesome ride. If I recall, didn't you make a similar run last year about this time?

Maybe take a ride along the coast highway here in the Monterey CA area. It should be nice weather here. Nothing much other than that. I just depends on how tired my wife is, she is on travel in the DC area this week.

Last year we went to the rockies, the year before the Smokeys (my avatar is the "dragon" in Oct 07). Thanks for remembering. Yes, we have a great time. I have a real good riding friend - just the two of us. We ride a good 300 miles just about every Saturday. It's a great way to get away from it all.

I'm enveous...I miss not having a bike. I've had one most of my life, but sold my Harley when my son was born. Crap, that was almost 21 years ago. I've gotta fix that someday. Enjoy the ride!! Rich

Sounds like most are going to have a great time. We're trying to open a new business and unfortunately busting it to open on a time (middle of June). So, we can't go anywhere since build out, planning, etc. is crucial at this point. Hope everyone will be safe, no matter where you spend the holiday. We don't need any more accident reports.

BTW, how protective are you with your vettes, when you do go out of town (staying at hotels, etc.).
