Default Years ago the Corvette was more Unique

I remember when power windows were almost unknown. Only cars like the Corvette or Thunderbird had them. Fuel injection was almost unknown except for the finest autos. These unique features made the Corvette seem special compared to their brothers.

Now almost all car models come with most of the frills. Heated seats are sorta Cool on a cold day with the roof out!

We may not think of resale value now, but when the Vette gets long in the tooth, we Will THEN. My '00 fetched a nice price on trade in.
This in turn set me up for an '09 eventually. Dang these Vettes are expensive. And I agree with everybody on this, used is the way to go if you are short on coin. Some rich people buy a Vette, hate it, and trade in in just a year or two. Lots of good deals like that out there. Check out your local Lexus dealer for good Corvette deals.

Them old fogies can't deal with the power of a modern Corvette...

When I 1st started shopping I wanted a 1LT Z51 which still had more features then my 97C5. In the end I have a 07 3LT non Z51. Now that I have the 3LT stuff I am not sure I would want to give it up. Heads up with the nav is great. Homelink is nice. The two tone sport seats are very sharp. The Heated seats are pretty sweet when you want the top off but it's cool outside. The stereo is the only thing not worth paying for and Nav could use a little improvement but overall I feel these features do add something to the overall experience if you you don't just track the car

I just meant there is no way to buy a Corvette at a "Cheap" price.

They all are quite expensive even with NO Options. Even the most stripped down basic model is way up there in cost. To run with the Corvette people , we all need our right change.

Everywhere I go in a Corvette, people think I am "Rich". Well I am maybe a little well off for sure, but not Rich by any means. I still stoop down to pick up a penny.... Guess that is how I manage to buy Corvettes.

To project a Rich image is sorta fun, but I always share my "Riches".
