I was given GSU(supplier) pricing on my ordered 09, and was told it was a bit OVER invoice, which conflicts with the info given in the referenced thread. I am now officially confused.
It is slightly above invoice since we are talking about supplier pricing not employee pricing. However I got my car for under invoice. That does not include my GM Card rebate or any other rebate. I'm not an employee of a GM supplier also.

Go to www.KBB.com and spec out the car you want. You'll see the (published) invoice price. GSU is around $700 above that in most cases, give or take a few hundred depending on options.
GSM is around $1900 under GSU. Many get GSM and GSU confused.
I did. Gave the dealer a pricing report from Edmunds on an 08, which was $58,440 MSRP, and $51,648 invoice that agreed with his pricing. Gave me GSU plus 09 price increase stating that GSU was a few hundred over invoice. I guess $700 give or take a few hundred is a bit over. My confusion stems from the replies on this threat and the referenced pricing descriptions that it is under invoice.
Capt Fred - Consumerreports dot com has a new car buying kit. I used it when purchasing my last vehicle. It shows the invoice and the dealer holdback (that's what makes it special). I was able to save a few hundred dollars on last minute negotiations with it. Worth the $. I may still have time left on my subscription and might be able to look up the car for you. Just PM me with the specs and your e-mail address. You can go to GMSupplierDiscount dot com and build a vehicle and compare the two. If your employer doesn't have the GM supplier pricing then you are out of luck with using it. I used it to purchase my '07 and I believe that it not only gives you a predetermine price for the car but also limits the DOC fee to 80 bucks or so. It's no haggle and great but the car has been around for a while now and you probably dont need it.

The difference stems from how Invoice is defined. Some include the regional/national advertising/marketing fees. In which case GSU appears to be under Invoice.
Others do not include that. With that definition GSU is a little over Invoice.
