I'm picking my car up at the museum on June 13th. I'm just curious at what point the XM trial offer starts. Does it start as soon as you get the car? What's involved in getting that to happen?
I'm just wondering if it'll be working in time for my drive home.
They will activate it at the museum and explain everything to you while you are there. I drove to Syracuse NY this past weekend and although the fidelity is not great, I never had to change radio stations.
Thanks. Does activation happen real time, or is it a "give it 24 hours" kind of thing?
Happens real time. My salesman and I did it right in the dealership parking lot with the built in phone in the car. Registered with OnStar, activated the phone (received car phone number) and activated XM all at one time. I only used XM for the 90 day trial period and then converted over to Sirius.

Mine worked right from the get go. If my Vert was my DD I would do like you and convert it to Sirius. I have Sirius on my boat and I think the programming is better. I know you can use the same antenna's....how hard was it to change the tuner???
