When I shopped around for my 07 at the end of the production year, two tone seats were the hardest to find, I saw them on a select few cars, but mostly you had to order a car with the separate option of two tones seats. Now in the 08's because chevy mad the 4LT package which included two tone seats, so many more people have been getting them. Has anyone else noticed this?

I ordered my 08 with 2 tone seats. Went for the buyers tour and saw hundreds of corvettes being assembled. I would estimate maybe 5 had the 2 tone interior. I'm so glad I got mine. It looks great.
I ordered my 2008 Crystal Red 3LT coupe with the 2-tone Cashmere/Ebony interior. From the production numbers I saw at the C5/C6 Bash this year, only 4% of Corvettes built up to that point had this interior.
The only thing that I miss not having is the emblem that the two tone seats have. I think there is emblems available but not sure how they hold up over time.
I have 1LT 2008...is it possible to swap seats and get a black/red combo?
Sure is, but no need to swap the entire seat. Just buy the factory color combo seat covers that you want from Gene Culley and swap them yourself or take it somewhere to have the swap performed.

I'm not certain but there may be a little fabrication work that needs to go in to this. The two tone seats are only available for the 2LT, 3LT and 4LT interiors. This is due to the side impact airbags. The 1LT seats and subsequently seat frame and seat cover are different as they do not have the side airbag mechanism.
Has anybody changed the seat covers? Would like to have the red/ebony. How hard is it to do? I think the red/ebony seat would look good with the ebony int.
