Powdercoating durability...how??
I was thinking of getting my calipers powder coated. What is the durability as far at temperature goes?
how hot do the calipers get during a Track day?
what would happen if this temperature exceeded the temp. that was used during application? (if the powdercoat is cured in a oven at 400 and hard breaking heats them up higher thAn that)
looking to hear from people that have had this done or who apply it.

My input:
I can't guarantee the finish above a 250-300 degree temperature, as thats what the suppliers say.
My experience:
I track my car and have had no problems. Several of my customers also track their cars and have had no problems. If a customer of mine ever does have problems from heat, I would redo them free of charge the first time, as after that, we would know he brakes harder than the heat can handle.
