Default Best car brush? California Car Duster?

I'm looking for a good quality car brush (duster). Who makes the best and how do you clean them and how often? A few people like the California Car Brush. Thanks!!

I think the California Duster is probably the best for the price. I use it almost everyday. It is the quickest way to remove the dust from a black corvette without any scratches. Also, you are not supposed to wash them at all. They have a paraffin type wax on them that helps collect the dust. They state on the packaging: " The dirtier they get, the better they work." After buying 5 now in the last eight years, I believe them.

I have the California duster (second one) but a friend has one from Griots Garage that is microfiber and no wax, might be worth a look at.
BTW, the Cal. duster works find just don't rub the car with it, slide it over gently.

The original California Duster ($18.00) works really well.

I have one too, and it works great on my black C6. It truly is the only way to get the dust off without scratching. I agree with the other post - just pass it gently over the car with no rubbing. Also, the directions say to let it sit out on newspaper for 48 hours, and I think this is a good idea to let any excess wax absorb into the paper so you don't get it on the car.

It's probably the cheapest and easiest thing I've bought for the Vette to date.

This might just be a preference thing, but I found out that the California Duster that has the duster part all the way around it (360 degrees), is alot easier to use. Some of them are just flat on one side. Either way, they are both great!

Hey Bandit1, thanks for posting that site. I didn't know they made a floor duster. I'm going to have to try that one out.
