Squeaky Breaks
2006 C6 -Always had squeak in brakes. Z51......I put on ceramic pads and its 75% better.......please give me your input......Thanks

I did the same thing and the squeaks have gone to ZERO!

Mine squeak a little too. I might do the same when it comes time to replace them.

Minor squeaks are normal with disk breaks.

GM ceramic. Direct replacements for stock brake pads. I still had to have all the edges chamfered on the ceramic pads to get the squealing to stop. Over 8000 miles so far, and not a sound anymore.

Mine squeal like a teenage girl. So you are telling me that the edges of the ceramics need to be chamfered? I will do it myself because I trust my work.

I've never had squeaky coffee BREAKS, but squeaky BRAKES yes!!!
