I have an '05 power top w/ 10k miles on the car. Went to lower the top the other day. At about the 1/2 way point, the tonneau cover falls back down against the glass and the top jambs. I can release the hydraulics and move the top manually, but that's not what I want to do. Just two weeks out of warranty. Any help would be appreciated.

I have also taken cars in after the warranty has expired and the dealer has come to bat. If you don't get satisfaction set up a claim through the GM hot line and insist the GM area service person get involved.
I had a Camero lose the right power window and water pump at the same time at around 48,000 miles and GM agreed to do the repair at half price.
Got the clutch replaced on my C5 at 55,000 miles when I proved it was defective, unfortunately they only covered the parts and the labor was around $1,600.00.
I use the logic that I purchased the car under the assumption the quality would allow the parts to last longer.
They have it right now. It seems there is an optical sensor that tells the car where the tonneau cover is. This sensor appears to have failed. They are trying to do this under warranty.
