Just came back from the grocery store. While passing the automotive section I noticed a box of Dupli Color Yellow Caliper paint. You must know that since I bought the Vette, I always imagined it with Yellow Calipers…
There was no price on the box, so I took it to one of those barcode scanners that hang though out the store which scanned 7 Cents!! At the checkout, the lady scanned my stuff and after she scanned the paint, she said.. Hmmm 7 cents, that doesn’t sound right… “Sounds right to me” I replied with a grin.. After a couple of fruitless attempts to contact someone regarding the price, she said ‘What the heck’ and charged me the 7 cents.
Sweet deal or what?
I do not know if I have the ***** to actually paint the calipers.. But for 7 cents,.. Hey who cares..
Anybody painted their calipers? Does it holdup? Looks good?
Many have painted their calipers. Using the appropriate paint will ensure that it holds up well and lasts. Don't know of anyone reporting failure of the paint. As in all painting situations, good preparation is key. Here is a thread that describes the process pretty well:

Since I used gloss black I sprayed the rotor fins, barrel and cleaned/painted the bolt hub too.
No reason to even mask anything off, the paint on the rotors gets burned off after a few trips to the store.
