I just received my laminated window sticker from the National Corvette Museum. The VIN numbers match perfectly, the car description matches perfectly, but the dollar figures are way off. How is that possible? My original sticker matches all the online dealerships. I have the Nav system and the total sticker is $85,945.00. The laminated sticker from NCM is $92,465. They actually added in the 3LZ as an extra $6545.00 which is not true and destination charge is over by $25. The estimated Annual Fuel Cost on my sticker is $2502, the NCM sticker is $2377. WTF? I was not expecting this. Has this happened to anyone else?
They called my 08 Atomic Orange a "tint coat" on the laminated sticker but it's not listed as that on the regular sticker. The funny part is they didn't charge me the extra 450 for the "tint coat" at least not on the NCM sticker.
I would save it. Like when they make a mistake on a Coin at the mint. Be kinda cool to have the correct one and the one with the mistake. I'm certain the NCM will correct the problem and send out a new one.
The museum folks are the best! They will make it right.
They value your business. Remember it is OUR museum.
Hope you are a member, if not it's worth the cost.
You are correct, they are the best. I have been a member since I bought my first Vette in 2005. Anyone that is a true Vette enthusiast, should consider becoming a member and support the Museum.
