dilemma
Past issues concerning the repro Z06 style chrome wheels. My fronts are scaling, peeling, not really sure how to describe it (on the inner flat area thats grooved) but they are getting worse. Is this just a BAD chrome job or common with the process of chroming aluminum wheels. Can it be stopped, painted over or have the wheels re-chromed by a reputable shop. They are only 2 years old and I can not find the purchase receipt anyway. My thoughts are to just paint over the flat area black, since the wheel wells are dark. Any metal experts with advice would be greatly appreciated.
