Car Covers?
Hey Everyone, I'm new and was just wondering if anyone has had bad experiences with using car covers. I don't have a garage and this is my only option. Thanks
I have a Wolf that I bought for my 08. Until this last weekend I always use it in my garage to keep the dust off. Last weekend was my first road trip where there was some coastal dew over night. When I pulled the cover off there was more water on the inside than the outside . It took me a while to get the car clean and road ready. I had to put the cover in its bag wet and open it up to dry when I got home. I guess I didn't buy a water proof, or even repellent one. It does fit well, and I dont' plan on driving the car in the rain.
I use a Wolfe cover 24/7/365 outside and I also have no other choice. There is some dirt that filters through occasionally with the morning dampness, but all things considered it is doable. They make several versions so make sure you get one that's rated for water repellant properties. I also suggest maintaining a good coat of Rejex, Zaino, Meguiars etc.
