I did it
My warranty was about to expire and the blocked first gear issue of the 05's was starting to drive me crazy. I decided to get the TSB done to replace the first gear and the second gear syncro. I was nervous as hell to have this done. I picked the car up today and the car seems great so far. Haven't had any blocked 1st gear issues. If there are any people out there with 05's that have this issue you may want to have it done by a good Chevy mechanic. My guy is damned good and I give him credit for putting it all back together correctly and having it work so smoothly.

Can you give me more info on this? I have an 07 and I am having
major issues with the shifter jamming between 1-2 and 2-3
under hard acceleration???
Its driving me nuts Its definately the car/syncros/shifter.
I ordered a MGW, I ll have it wed
