E clip

I feel dumb asking this but,how do you get the clip on to stop the creaking roof. I tried but couldent get it on.

i HAD TO PUSH LIKE HELL TO GET MINE IN AND i STILL DON'T KNOW IF I did it correctly!I still have noise.

needle nose pliers - e-clip worked for me!

I used a very small flat tip screwdriver as a pusher while holding the clip with a small pair of needle nose pilers. The only reason I used needle nose was that my fingers don't work as good as the used to. Make sure the plastic barrel is to one side or the other. The clip is suppose to fit tight to the axle and to the side of the plastic barrel; I used the flat tip to push the center of the clip on to the axle.
