Interesting but are you aware that the current street price you can find here from forum dealers is about $2K less than supplier price for 2008s? You can get supplier price for a 2009. And Rick Daniel says he has some 08's that appear to be up to $3.5K below supplier price.

I believe GMS pricing is essentially dealer invoice. GMS makes for an easy, no hassle deal on most cars with both the dealer and the customer leaving happy.

Right now there are some GM incentives that can take the final cost down to $1,000 or $2,000 below invoice, but that's on leftover 2007 and 2008 vehicles.

For 2009 orders, GMS is still a very good deal even though prices have yet to be announced by GM.

Over the past few weeks, there have been $1,000, $2,000, and even $3,000 dollar rebates offered on leftover GM vehicles. Some of these were restricted offers, others were available to the general public. I'm not sure what GM is doing this week.

I really appreciate the forum dealers, but I don't understand all the hoopla these days about supplier or GMS pricing. The prices have been better than this for 2 or 3 years, if you time it right.

GM Supplier is code GMU. GMS is for GM Employee purchases. It's confusing, but those are the codes.

Interesting.......where can I find out more information about the amount of rebate and the promotion expiration date for a 2008 coupe?
