Default Is it safe

I am thinking of installing a fiberglass cover over my battery. Is this a safe thing to do? I am thing of gas build up and heat

Forum member Pipedreams offers a similar device that shields the top and engine facing sides - - the design allows for air circulation completely around the battery so fumes aren't an issue . . check out his "nakid parts" links here in the forum:

You should be fine as long as air can circulate around it. Check out the link above.

You should have no problems because it is not sealed up only 2 sides are covered. I have a stainless cover on mine and I love it Never had any issues.
Like everyone said, "check out Eds site" he has alot of stuff.
Here's a pic of my cover, I've gotton alot of on it. Stainless is not for everyone but I like the look.
