Back from NCM delivery
On June 5, I p/u my 08 AW Z51 MN0 3LT Q3X NPP red & black interior. It's my first Vette. The plant tour was very neat and the whole delivery was pretty cool. The Vette is soooo smooth, refined, sophisticated, handles like a go kart and has very good power when you get that LS3 all revved up. I'm still getting accustomed to driving a performance car with an automatic. To compare a bit, I have a fairly heavily modded '03 Cobra that is more responsive on the throttle and the Cobra is a hoot to drive and race, but the Vette is sooo much nicer. By the way, I would have bought a 07/08 Shelby but until very recently, dealers were price gouging, a practice I resent. I think it turned out well for me.

I had an 03 cobra too and am surprised how much I like the Vette.

Congratulations .. You made the right choice.
I don't baby my 08' and still get 20.9 city/highway average. I think I do about 70% city type driving. She drives so good I feel like I should get about 10mpg.
Just try that with the new Ford Shelby. Plus you have to pay a gas guzzling tax with the Shelby.
